Why banking track record matters more than the fee
Choosing a free zone purely on price can backfire if that zone has a poor banking track record. A company that cannot open a UAE corporate bank account — or takes 6 months to do so — loses far more than the cost difference between zones. Before committing, ask the free zone directly which UAE banks they have established relationships with, and confirm your intended bank will process applications from that zone.
See the UAE corporate bank account guide for what banks check and how to prepare your application.
